The West Hartford Chamber of Commerce's web site, was awarded a Hartford Business Journal Strateg-E  Award  during the 2010 e-Technology Summit February 25. The web site won in the category “Easiest website to buy products & services from.”

Working with website developers from The Computer Company, the chamber built a site that acts as the West Hartford Storefront. Members are able to renew membership online and are encouraged to upload events to the calendar as well as participate in our Member-to-Member discount program – all with the click of the mouse. More than 10,000 unique visitors browse the website each month looking for business listings and information about the town.

In addition to the award, the West Hartford Chamber of Commerce received a proclamation from Governor M. Jodi Rell recognizing its commitment to effectively using technology to serve our customers and to produce revenue.
